I don’t know too much about this bloke. I have read that he is rare air for taking a wicket in his first over at international level in all three forms of the game. The highs being that he got Haddin (and Ponting soon after in ODI’s). The low point being the wicket in Test cricket was Shane bloody Watson, first ball. That would do me if I were him. Great stuff to brag about in the pool room when your mates are chirping off.
Only 19 matches at 30 years old suggest late blooming or injuries. Either way, he is going to have to be at his best for this tour. It’s no secret the Sri Lankan attack is lacking a bit, and no longer has two all-time legends coming in with the bat in hand to save the day.
